The Nigerian immigration service (nis) through its public relation officer has stated the intent of recruiting new members into it's body in 2025, and the NIS 2025 recruitment consist of both graduate and non graduate.
The immigration service (nis) recruitment of 2025 will be based on merit and qualifications, and applicants are warned to not give money to anybody with the name of getting the immigration service (nis) job for them.
The NIS recruitment application is online and free and the application start on 14 July 2025 through the CDCFIB recruitment website.
After the NIS recruitment 2025 application, all the applicants most sit and pass the immigration service (nis) recruitment exam which will follow immediately after the closing of the online application, and only the applicants that pass the exam will be invited to attend the immigration service recruitment screening exercise which will follow after the exam.

Immigration service (NIS) 2025 recruitment available positions and requirements
Category A: Superintendent Cadre
i- Superintendent of Immigration (SI) conpass 11 professional (Doctors):
Applicants must possess first degree in MBBS from a recognized institution of higher learning and NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
ii- Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 professional (pharmacists):
Applicants must possess first degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution of higher learning and NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
iii- Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI) CONPASS 08:
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
i- Assistant Inspector Immigration (All) General Duty CONPASS 06:
Applicants must to be holders of a National Diploma (ND), NCE or Advance NABTEB obtained from recognized institutions.
Category C: Assistant Cadre
i- Immigration Assistant iii (IA I11) CONPASS 03 General Duty:
Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, GCE or its equivalent with a minimum of 4 credit in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English and Mathematics.
ii- Immigration Assistant III (IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans:
a) motor driver
b) Mechanic
Applicants must be holders of ordinary level SSCE or its equivalents and appropriate trade test certificate.
Applications must be submitted online within two weeks of the day of the publication of the recruitment.
General instruction for 2025 NIS recruitment applicants
- Candidate must be free of any criminal conviction.
- You must be medically, physically and psychologically fit.
- Not be less than 1.65 meters and 1.56 meters tall for male and female applicants respectively.
- You are to print out a slip tagged: Photo card which should be presented at the screening center.
Nigeria Immigration Service 2025 recruitment requirements:
- Passport size photograph.
- First School Leaving Certificate.
- WAEC/Nabteb/NECO/GCE Results.
- Optional – NCE/ND/Trade Test/ RN.
- Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.
Applicants should log in to www.recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from July 14 to fill out and submit the application form.
