Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for FFS 2025

Once the portal is live on July 14, 2025, follow these steps carefully to submit your application:

  • Visit the Official Portal which is: www.recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
  • Create an Account: Click on "Start Application" or "Register." You will need a valid and active email address and phone number to create your applicant profile. Choose a strong and unique password.
  • Confirm Email (if applicable): Some platforms may require you to verify your email address by clicking a link sent to your inbox.
  • Choose One Agency: This is a crucial step. Carefully select Federal Fire Service (FFS) from the list of available agencies. Applying to more than one agency will lead to automatic disqualification.
  • Select Cadre and Position: Choose the specific cadre (Superintendent, Inspectorate, or Assistant) and the position within that cadre for which you are qualified and wish to apply.
  • Fill in Personal Details: Accurately provide all requested biodata, contact information, detailed educational qualifications (institutions, dates, grades), and any relevant work experience.

Important Considerations:

* Application is FREE: Emphasize again that the application process is absolutely free. Do not pay anyone for forms or assistance.

* Single Application: Apply to only one agency. Submitting multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.

* Accuracy: Provide only truthful and accurate information. Any false details will lead to immediate disqualification.

* Stay Updated: Regularly check the official CDCFIB portal (recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng) and the Federal Fire Service website (fedfire.gov.ng) for official updates regarding screening dates, aptitude tests, and interview schedules. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
